Here the month is nearly gone and I have not posted anything on LJ. I continue to waste altogether too much time on Facebook, specifically on those effing games.

To sum up the month, a bit.

The laptop I bought in July will be going in to Dell for repair. The monitor went bad, readable, but just barely. Necessity being the mother of something or other, I got this one out and played around with it. For whatever reason, a search found me a site I hadn't seen before that suggested that shadow copies might be a least part of the problem. Voila! I was able to free up a proverbial shit load of space. The disk still fills up more quickly than it should but I have bought a great deal of breathing room while I figure out what else is going on.
