Big Brother and SIL and Lily now live in a house in New Hampshire. Lils, however, wants to GO HOME! HOME! HOME! Apparently, they all do. Big culture shock and buyers remorse, BB says.
It's cold in NH. Snow flurries. And the sun sets at 4:15 or so right now. That's crazy.
BB is currently in Philly, by himself, renting another trailer on Saturday. He'll be cleaning up the apartment, packing bits of stuff and capturing the outside cats.
Prayers, please, that he can capture these outside kitties. They depend on him. Sure, they're survivors, but he's been caring for them for years now, some of them, and they need him and he needs them. Prayers, too, that they take the trip well and adapt to their new surroundings, especially during these first weeks. Cats don't like change.
On the other hand, it's been warm and muggy here. We did have a couple nights down in the thirties, maybe even hit freezing once, but we've warmed up since. Not blazingly hot, just a tad warmer than seasonal. Not going to have one of those freezy winters that my roses really appreciate come spring, what with the increased dormancy. On the other hand, I doubt I'll have to worry about my vetiver and the butterfly ginger might rebound a bit. It's been kind of peaky this last year.
I like a lot of Christmas music, I like some of it a lot. I would like to hear something else besides, between now and midnight 25 December.
Just saying.
