These vagabond shoes

My first post here at Dreamwidth, don't have anything to say. The rain has decided to come down in earnest; Pye is sitting on my lap, kneading; my sinuses are not happy.
Sandi and I are planning a play date for this coming Tuesday. I know we're going to hit the Sewing Studio. I hope we can swing by FDJ. That drill press is calling my name.
What would they do there if they didn't see me every month or so.
Pat had some excellent suggestions for the bracelet I'm making. Or at least suggestions for another piece made with the heavy copper wire. If I can motivate myself enough, I'll go into the studio tomorrow and get some work done. I could play with some fusing. If I get the kiln up to copper annealing temp range and put copper wire with strips of sterling wrapped around it and take pieces out when they get to temp, I could try fusing/heat scarring the sterling with very little fuel/oxygen. It's worth a try.
I need to see about uploading userpics and such. Arrgh.
